Animal adaptations

Crab writing

Crabs are amazing animals with 10 legs which is why it walks sideways because it will be very hard to walk forward.

Looks like     The crab has ten legs which means it is a decagon. Male crabs have blue tipped legs with red.

How does it survive     On the first pair of legs it has two pincers to help it pinch its prey to kill it because I think it crunches it. The crab is a crustacean like dogs are canines and stuff like that.

What does it eat     The crab eats algae and anything from leaves, wood and sand. It eats smaller crabs that are living on the beach with them.

Where does it live      The crab lives in soil that can be feet deep. Hermit crabs live in some shells to protect itself from predators that attack it. Some crabs also live in the water because like fish they have gills so they can breathe underwater. Crabs also live in forests where it is quite shady and dark.

Crabs are awesome because I think they are the only animal that walks sideways and I found one at the beach and it was cute as.
